Hi All,
My first foray into Dan Wesson was with a 715. I managed to get one of the "blems". I still to this day can't find what made it one? Later I got a 10 inch barrel set for it with a Weaver scope base from the factory in Norwich.
Next on the list was an estate sale a Model 15 pistol pack. To my surprise the barrel assembly installed on the pistol at the time was the FIFTEEN inch. It's a real "hog leg".
Next I acquired a pair for 357 Supermags. BOTH is real good shape. Through sources found on the web a spare barrel and the tools for them.
So you can say I'm a "Dan Fan".

Welcome. You sure do belong on the forum. You definitely have DWAS. You might consider emigrating to a saner place. Florida was sane until all the northerners moved here. Still, it is a great place to enjoy second Ammendment rights. If you are 21. Lol.
Those 15" barrel are cool to look at but you need to supprt it to hit anything. It is used in the Creedmoor position. Laying flat on your back facing the target. You prop your head up with your free arm and rest the barrel on your calf. Use a leather apron over your calf to protect it from cylinder gap blast. If you use a prop be sure to protect the finish from damage and don't scope it. It reduces the value greatly. Scope a lesser shroud.
