Hello to all you the Forum members. I'm a new guy from Crested Butte, CO. I recently purchased a Dan Wesson 15-2 with a Heavy-Vented 4" barrel/shroud. I then bought an 8" Vented barrel/shroud with the anticipation of shooting Steel Challenge with it next summer (didn't want the extra weight of the Heavy Shroud). I was looking around for a good case for my revolver, but nearly every Pistol Pack I found was pretty much beat up. So then I came upon this interesting replacement, a Dan Wesson CO2 pistol case. I managed to fit the revolver with the 8" barrel just perfectly in the revolver cut-out spot (a Hogue Finger grip and a Pachmayr target grip also fit perfectly). The 4" barrel and shroud fit in a pre-existing cutout. The speed loaders fit in the loader spots for the gas pistol, and my wrench and various extra tools fit in the two cartridge cut-outs. I don't plan on getting a 6" barrel now that I found a perfectly matched (bluing) 8". I'll eventually get the 2-1/2" barrel and shroud, and I'll fit it in the spot that now occupies my DW belt buckle. Just a thought for those thinking about how to store their revolver, and who don't have a Pistol Pack. Found it cheap on both eBay and Amazon. Might need to ask some questions about my gun in the future. Now, I'm just getting used to the new-old girl. Happy New Year to everyone.
