Dang it! I hang around here lurking for a few weeks, and I catch the Dan Wesson disease from you people. I go and spend a bunch money on a Compensated 7445... now I have to find brass for a .445 Super Mag! Where's the doctor? Help me...
No, really, I'm glad to be here with you fine people. The pistol should be here in a few days, and I will post photos when she arrives.
I could use a little help rounding up some brass though
Thanks,
Chops

We are right now (this very minute) loading up the first batch of .445 SM-a good friend sent out 50 cases from his personal stash.

Good luck, and Welcome to DWF
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

That's a great looking 7445, thanks for showing it off!
Are you just running .44 Mag through it so far? If you get impatient waiting for brass, you could order some loaded ammo through Reed's... http://shop.reedsammo.com/searchquick-submit.sc?keywords=445

Thanks, Guys! I'm proud of her.
Those are .44 Mag +P handloads. 240gr. Hornady XTP's at ~1,500fps. I have tried everywhere for .445 loaded ammo or brass. Nothing... nada... nowhere to be found. Everyone is waiting on Starline. So, for now I'm having fun with .44's.
I'll be sure to scrub that cylinder like the dickens to get the carbon ring out before going to .445's.
Let me know if anyone comes up with a source for brass.
Have a great day,
Chops
