Welcome to the DWF Sign, Mikeone.  Another Supermagfan huh?  Great revolvers they are.  I look forward to hearing what you think when you have had the chance to shoot it.

No kidding.

Welcome Mike.

I'm going to suggest that you use heavier bullets (180gr) to help reduce flame cutting of the top strap.  Rumor has it that the lighter bullets exacerbate the problem.  Also, the heavier ones will take out those rams more regularly.

Again, welcome.

Welcome to DWF, you have a lot of SuperMag company here. You might be interested in some of our DWCA Members take on the SuperMags:

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome Mikeone.  All you Mike's can invade the gun shows / shops in CO together and clean up.  Just watch Shootest and the DWAS  will take over.

Welcome MIKEONE

The SuperMag in a Dan Wesson is an outstanding gun. You'll really enjoy it. And, as said before, stick to the heavier 180-200 grain bullets...that's what is was designed for.
