Just joined and wanted to say hello.  I my first Dan Wesson was purchased in 1977 when I joined the Albany Police Department in Albany Ga.  I can not recall if I bought a pistol pack or if I bought individual barrels, but I had a 2 1/12 inch (for off duty), a 4 inch for duty, and a 8 inch for the great look in gave me in a shoulder holster.   My second Dan Wesson was purchased in the mid 80's.  I sold it about a year or two later.  When I sold it, I sold it with the 2 1/2 inch barrel.  I thought it had a bad main spring, but later released it was bad reloads on my part.  I really hate that I sold it.   I carried the first Dan Wesson as my duty weapon until 2003, when I started using a S&W 340PD, as I was no longer working cases, but doing admin duties.   I still shoot the DW for fun and in the near future will be asking for some good 357 reloads.  I have the 4 inch, 6 inch, and 8 inch barrels and shrouds for it.  I also have a 6 inch DW 22.  I have several topics I want to present to the forum, but they will have to wait for another time.  This the first intro I have every given on a forum.  I did it on this forum because you'll seem to be a close group and their just are not that many of us DW fans left.

Welcome to the forum.  Lots and lots of good DW info here, enjoy your stay.  The DW .357 is built strong, no worries with reloads.
