Hey all,i am looking at a ctg model 15(i think)at a local store. While doing some research i found this site and just wanted to say hello.Hopefully i will be around for a bit.
Eta,it is a 6 inch in blue,it has a large shroud, maybe a vh model. It is square on the botom and runs full length of barrel, the cylinder is tight and the gun is in good condition, the barrel shroud though has scuffs and is missing some blue at the end of shroud. They want 319 dollars which seems high, i know the guys so i may try for 275 or 280.

It sounds like a Model 15 (the ctg refers to ".357 ctg (cartridge)" and if the top rib is ventilated it is the VH (Vented Heavy) barrel, if not vented it is the H (Heavy) barrel. I'd guess it's a Monson, MA model, and in decent condition in my area (New England) that would be a real nice price. Based on what I see on Gun Broker, it's also a good deal. If it's tight and locks up well, I'd do it. Welcome to DW Forum.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
