Hello to all members
My name is Albert and I have been a sharpshooter since a very young age, something which is extemely rare here. My father whom I lost 7 months ago was a proud gun collector for decades. Unfortunatelly because of the extemelly strict gun ownership regulations here in Greece many of them were lost uppon his death. One of his most loved possessions was a dan wesson .357 Monson era revolver with a full set of heavy ventilated barrels, and this one I was able to rescue on the last minute. Currently is in the hands of an arms dealer who will sell it back to me for no exchange and I'm following all the legal obligations to regain it. It's probably one of two or three dan wessons here and also because of its sentimental value to me I'll give my best to have it back.

Welcome to the Dan Wesson Forum. It's sad to hear that you lost your Father, and that his guns were taken from you. Good Luck on keeping hold of the Dan Wessons, so many nations are so restrictive, but at least keeping a Pistol Pack helps you keep the equivalent of four guns.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome, as said saddened to hear about your father! Sad to that a government would not let you keep all is guns! I hope you do retain the Dan and show us some pictures when you have it in hand!
The site is under some remodeling so bare with us as we create the greatest Dan Wesson place ever! Well the old Monson School house would be better!!

Sorry to hear of your loss. I myself am new here butfrom what I have seen this is a very wecoming and friendly place. I have been in "your neck of the woods" so to speak and it is very restrictive I am very glad to hear you are going through thr steps to maintain ownership!!!

It's a sad day when you lose your father, but losing most of his guns too, makes it even worse!
My condolences for losing your Dad, I hope you will be able to retrieve more of the guns from his collection.

Thanks a lot my friends for your warm welcome and condolences. Thank you Steve but when I open the insert image dialog box the browse icon is nowhere to be found! Maybe a region issue, any help will be very appreciated!

Albert, welcome to the forum! I'm sorry for your lost.
If you look at the bottom of the screen after you click Add Reply you should see a button called Upload Attachment. If you click that it will walk you through uploading an image.
