Are the rear sights fixed as well as the front? did you get a takedown wrench and shim to adjust the barrel?

No I did not. it was the gun , and a crappy holster. I know these aren't the best pictures but its the best I can do. Ie looked at all the stickies on here and honestly ... i'm not seeing the lineup. I took the grips off because to be honest I hated them and have new on order.

You're doing well so far Zarmalar, the folks here will get you the info you need.
That for sure looks like a model 14-2 (fixed rear sights, non-porkchop barrel shroud), what is referred to as a "Service" revolver (vice a "Target" model 15 which has adjustable rear sights), with I think a 4" barrel.
If you post the S/N (on the side of the first pic) there are some helpful gents that will get you the manufacture date (mark the last two digits of the S/N as "##").
What grips did it have and what did you order? I think you can ignore the "writing" on the tang (the second pic), something the previous owner(s) would have put on it.
