Hi all. Just joined the firm but have been lurking a while. I started shooting again about six moths ago (25 year layoff). One of my boys has been enjoying shooting with me so much that for Christmas I gave him my old H&R 686. I purchased that gun 30 years ago and it is in great shape. I hated to let it go but he was stunned. It is in good hands now and I know he will care for and treasure it for a long time. I've got an SR9, a S&W 60, a Walther P22 and old Ruger 10/22. I get to the range 2 to 4 times a month. My 12 year old just started shooting the P22 and really likes it. My wife thinks she is going to start shooting soon also. Anyway I'm off to the forums to see what I can learn about DW revolvers.

Welcome to DWF. I took a long shooting "layoff" too, started back up because my son was interested. I gave him a gun, my first DW 15-2 (and my first gun). He's a pretty good caretaker of the heirloom.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome aboard, glad to see another passing on the tradition and responsibility of firearm use and ownership.
