Hi ive been collecting various guns and mainly ARs and 1980s Smiths but have a Colt and Ruger etc, I saw this at Cabelas in very good shape. There is a part were the blueing is missing in cylider any suggestions or links on were I could touch it up or does it need a pro?

From what I have gathered its a Palmer 1990-1995/6 15-2 fixed barrel with 6" barrel and 7.5"? Shroud thats ported. I should have used a cleaner reg to oil it its kinda dirty looking in the pic now.

Welcome to the forum from PA!  That is a rather uncommon one there, a 6" compensated fixed barrel.  Too bad about the bluing loss.  That looks like a job for a pro to get a good hot blue to match the Palmer deep black.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Its kind of a bad photo its just the one spot were the bluing is missing the rest is dust etc from not finding something better to oil it with ill have to re do it, I'm used to stainless guns mainly.

Not sure about that. I do know that the moon clips may have to be custom made. Not sure if Smith or Ruger clips will work. I have several stainless cylinders chambered for 9mm and I am looking for some that will fit. It may be that half moon clips is the way to go. The problem is the size of the rachet.
