Greeting all. Have had a DW in the past and just found one locally that just jumped into my safe, imagine that. Ive been an active shooter for many years and always had a fondness for the DW's. Sold my first one 25 years ago and have not had one since so this one will do for many years to come.

Its a ..357 mag 8" barrel. Im thinking a model 15? Havent shot but a single round through it and its as sweet as I remember them to be.

would hope to find a 2" barrel assembly for it so Ill be looking.

Looking forward to some great shooting dialog. Im retired love fishing hunting and just putzin around.

Probably a Model 15 (it has adjustable rear sights) ... a Model 14 has fixed rear sights. You can always find a 2-1/2" barrel assembly on eBay or GunBroker.

Welcome to the DWF! Glad to have you. Yours is probably a Model 15 if blued and a 'pork-chop' shroud or a 15-2 if it has a standard, vent, or heavy shroud. Here is a good place to check.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
