Joined up last week. My father-in-law has been an avid shooter all of his life. He and I last week went out shooting and he brought out is Model 15. This is one of the sweetest pistols I've shot and I love it. I'm fascinated with the Dan Wesson history and am thrilled to now own this great firearm. Looking forward to visiting the DWF often.

Welcome to DWF, lots here for you to look around at, THIS might get you started.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I'm finding the grip very interesting with that small ledge at the bottom. My father-in-law is looking for the other barrels (though not sure of their sizes):
That is a pretty cool factory target grip and probably not very common, since I've not seen one like that before. When "Pete" says "BA's", he refers to "Barrel Assemblies", which includes; the Barrel Shroud, Barrel Tube and Barrel Nut and he is correct that they come in; 2-1/2", 4", 6", 8", 10", 12" & 15" lengths. Your Shroud style is called 'Standard' and the 4" is one of the most desirable. BA's also come as 'Vented Rib', 'Heavy Underlug' and 'Vented Heavy'. Enjoy learning about this cool revolver and shooting it.
