laughHello from NW Ohio I am a revolver fanatic mostly S&W, Rugers and my first DW. I already have it stripped to the bare frame for cleaning. I like the design already!

Hello Chuck and welcome to the forum. This is a group of very friendly folks with a ton of Dan knowledge. Since you have already stripped your Dan down you might want to take a look at this thread:

https://www.danwessonforum.com/forum/reloading/tuning-up-your-15-2-the-average-joe-method/

Tells us more about your Dan and, by the way, we do like cool-pics!

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?

dwf-welcometo thedwf which model do you have?

Stripping it bare for a good scrubbing is a good thing to do with a new gun, you never know what gunk & buildup could be lurking in there from it's previous owner.smile

welcome from another new member. I'm from where all Ohioans go, Florida. It's good to hear that shooters of great experience are impressed with Dans. I have no other revolvers yet. Can't get beyond Dans. Maybe someday I'll try a smiff. Do like the Colt Trooper mk iii. watch out for DWAS.
