Thank you all for the warm welcome. I am very anxious to learn all I can about my Dan Wesson revolvers. Steve CT commented on my 15-2 I was confident that it was a 15-2 (the only way i knew was it came in a DW box that was labeled 15-2 an had the proper serial # 1252XX ) and would like to find out what year it was manufactured. The Stainless 714 ? I am not so sure on i don't really know the difference the serial # on that one is sd0068XX. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 714 is the fixed sight, ss, version of the 15-2... here's a good thread to read while your surfing.

Glad you found us, and glad to have you on board. There is strength in numbers. Nice looking Dan's, and they appear to remember how to shoot properly too.
