Howdy all,
First I would like to thank everyone for the wealth of information I have already found
here. After 30 years I have a Dan Wesson again. Back in the early 80's I owned a
Model 15 IHMSA 44 mag with a 10" barrel, what a beautiful weapon. Unfortunately
a "friend" of mine stole it to buy drugs. I recently won a .357 at an auction site. I did not realize until after that it is a fixed barrel model. In fact until then I did not know that
Dan Wesson made these types of revolvers. Well hopefully the picture shows up.

Welcome Home! You sort of stumbled into a much less common DW. Everything you see here except the interchangeable barrel applies to your gun, so jump right in.
How "South Florida" are you? My son is stationed in Miami, and is a Member here as well.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have vacationed in West Palm, split a time share with my sister and her husband. I remember that we had the most fun just driving around looking randomly for cool looking little seafood places for dinner every evening.
I'm in Middletown, our son is stationed at USCG Sector Miami.
Enjoy that Dan, you lucked into a rare one.

Welcome to the forum from PA, I have a 3" FB model just like the one you bought, and I like mine quite a bit. EWK is definitely the place for a new front sight.
