I just recently acquired a blue DW 44 magnum with a 6" heavy barrel with vented rib. My brother sold it to my son then my son sold it to me. It's a Monson model, Serial# B0206XX. The gun's blue finish is in excellent shape. Overall the whole gun is in excellent shape because each of the owners fired minimal rounds through it.
When I took it out to the gun range for the first time I fell in love with this gun. I don't have the steadiest hand in the world but the weight of this gun settles everything down for me. I'm really happy about being an owner of such a high quality gun.
Maybe I'll make this gun my carry gun in the winter. I need to find a good leather shoulder holster first though.
