Well, that's what brought me here to be honest. I don't know. Here is a pic of both of them. I have been trying to read up, but I am confused..
The one I brought home tonight is on top.
They are .357 and both have adjustable rear sights, and removable fronts. The one on top is Monson, the one below is Palmer and does not have the removable lug desined barrel.
I'm sure you guys are going to know in a second, but I truly am confused. Any help will be soooo appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Both nice looking, looks like you have one of the 715FB (Fixed Barrel) models. Not so common, they started showing up here less than a year ago. Seems strange for DW to do that, trading away a signature design characteristic. They are reportedly great shooters, however.
And
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

to the DWF Joseph!
You are now an official CRA - check under FAQS on the right side of the forum for acronyms...
And find a ton of info under the archives / files tab while your looking for cool stuff to read.
Apparently DW made fixed barrel guns since the very first service models, but they were few and far between and as Steve said, sort of voided the signature concept. Nuthin' wrong with 'em though...
Good to add to the Texas contingent!

You guys are great and thanks for the info again. I'll be bringing the 715V out tomorrow so I let you know how she does. Too date it is the longest barreled pistol I own and am interested to see how I do with it.
And I just read what CRA meant ... Very funny.. It seems even my Rugers and Smiths are Stainless too, so I guess you are right. For some reason I always go for revolvers of that kind.
