New to the forum and to Dan Wesson, although I always wanted one!
Now living the dream. Monday, I bought a DWA 15-2, bright blue finish, 6" vent rib barrel; Serial #98xxx, from the original owner who purchased it in 1977. Owner claims less than 100 rounds fired, gun is flawless except for slight fading and a few small scratches on the frame.
Included were leather belt holster, leather shoulder holster (both Bianchi), a nylon belt, holster, & 2 speedloaders w/pouch.
Got it all for a little over $500 - did I get hurt?
I don't care - it shoots SWEET!
Thanx, & God Bless!
P.S. I'll try to post pics when I learn how
.357 inches of pure FUN!

Welcome to DWF, and no, you didn't get hurt at all. You got lots of extra goodies with a revolver that would have been $400-500 on GB anyways. Special to get it from the original owner, and that SN jibes fairly closely with my own original, also 1977.
Check out our New FAQ section on the right side get those pix up. Now, lets see, your'e gonna need a 4" barrel/shroud (amazing difference in FUN shooting), and start practicing some combat shooting, you already have holster, speedloaders and pouch. Less than 100 rounds in over 30 years?? Your duty is clear-shoot it a lot
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I haven't seen the basketweave leather in a long time, is it still made? A classic touch for a classic revolver. Good Deal!
The current Bianchi with the same model # is plain leather, and $80 at Midway. A similar shoulder rig is $120. IMO both are better quality than the ones currently offered.
Current retail for all included accessories is about $275 - which translates to one heck of a deal, IMO
(I've never sold a gun and don't intend to start now.)
