Hi ! I found this site a while back and had forgotten about it. Lot's of good info on here and friendly people. I currently own 1 Dan Wesson .357 revolver. I'm not sure what model it is. I can't find it anywhere on the gun. I am 55 yrs. old and messed around with DW revolvers when I was about 20. I purchased my DW about 7 years ago. I had forgotten how accurate they are. My wife has since claimed mine . It's her nightstand gun. It wears a 2 1/2 " barrel. Out of all my pistols it's the only one she can hit anything with.

15-2 with a 2" standard barrel (which measures out to 2 1/2 inches), with a Pachmayr grip.
PM me with the S/N and I can give you a year of manufacture, from your pictures it looks to be an earlier manufacture run of 15-2's
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Very nice. Try putting Wolff Springs in it. Your wife may be able to fire in DA. My wife has a problem with slides. There are some semis that work though. RIA 1911 in 22 TCM. 2000 ft per second with little recoil and easy to rack. Similar to a FN 5.7 cooked and locked is even better.

Welcome to the forum from PA! Glad to have you here. That looks like a non vented shroud, rather uncommon. Serrated hammer leads me to think early gun also. Stinger you must have a big monitor or very sharp eyes, I can't make out anything on that serial number on my screen.

If a man designed it, and a man built it, then a man can fix it.
