Been looking for a semi-custom 1911 for a while. Primarily for CC so I wanted to purchase a Commander or Officer AL frame with a bobtail grip but vacation came up too soon and instead took the family to Kauai to go diving.
Come back and see a used DW Valor in SS for sale, did some research and decide to purchase the full size Valor, just to take the edge off the 1911 craving. Hopefully, I made the right decision but in any case, I'm looking forward to learning more about DW 1911's.
Regarding guns, I try and do my research but as in stocks, the only way you're really going to get to know the Company/gun is to jump in and buy the damn thing and use it.
Anyway, looking forward to learning more about DW firearms!

Welcome to DWF. It's hard to imagine a better gun than a stainless Valor to jump into the 1911 world
