Well I've been lurking here for a while and am just getting around to signing up. I am 51 yrs old and live in Middle TN. I decided to really get into pistol shooting and hopefully hunting. I remember reading about DW's back in the '70s in Outdoor Life magazine. I also remembered the part about changing the barrels/grips and the accuracy of them so I bought my first one earlier this year in .357 with the tools, soft case and 2 1/2" and 6" barrels. Since then I decided I really should practice with what I will hunt with so I bought a DW .22 with the 4" and 6" barrels. I then decided I should try out a .44 and got one with a 6" barrel. I have since bought a 4" barrel for the .44. Kinda of like potato chips, huh? smile Of course I also have the various grips that came with them. I have pretty much settled down except for maybe mounting scopes on the 6" shrouds on all 3 and getting a 4" barrel/shroud for the .357. The 4" barrels are really handy for carrying in the woods when I'm piddling around there.  Anyway I seem to have caught the DW bug and I will definitely continue to be poking around for info and ideas here. BTW, I have already bought from EWK Arms and they are a really nice bunch of people to deal with.

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

welcome  Congrats on the acquisitions.  I think I see why the price of used Dan's is going up.  Nobody buys just one.  wink
