Finally got my model 15 from my gunsmith and i felt like showing it off. Been lurking here for a while to get a pachmayr gripper grip for a large frame dan wesson, was informed they don't exist slap

Anyhow here is my model 15

when i first got her

m15_4

it's happening surprised (ewk arms 6" eh barrel + aristocrat ts-6 sight)

m15_3

almost there. gunsmith had to make a custom crane retainer to match the real ppc under-barrel and hold the barrel better

m15_1

finally done, got it back this morning drool, cerakote socom blue. Hardly wait to shot it, no time till this weekend

m15_2

After he gave me the update with the under-barrel, I pretty much was dead set in doing the same to a .44. my gunsmith told me he can pretty much make the bull barrel the same as ewk, so I don't have to do the wait time to get it for my 44. laugh.Dumb question I know, has anyone made a pachmayr gripper grips from a s&w or any other model work on the large frame? Or else I'll go for a hogue grip. thanks

Well you certainly went after something unique. It looks great from here. occasion

We'd like to see a few more details on the gun. If you would please make your pictures a little bigger so we can enjoy them.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Cool Iron.  Just a thought, If you are dead set on a gripper for the large frame you might take a common presentation grip and with a Dremel tool and a soldering iron and convert one. Haven't tried it but I believe it might be possible.

Your smith does some nice work, it looks great! The crane holder tab, is that held onto the lower lug part with a screw, or just wedged in there?
