This is my first DW. I've had two Colts, a plain commander parkerized / blue, and a combat commander xse ss. Unfortunately, I had lots of problems with FTF and slide not locking back. I hope that this DW will be different and I will be able to trust enough to carry.
Pics will come soon, along with the range report. I am expecting to receive her this coming Friday. After everything works out well, and she performs flawlessly she will then be called Diana Prince – AKA wonderwoman

Welcome to DWF, it's great to have another 1911 shooter here. I dream of owning a CBOB one day, I have an outstanding PM1S. You should be very satisfied with the CBOB, the most common complaint is that the slide>frame fit is so tight, that some galling or maybe even a lockup can occur. I'd keep it a little wet for the first couple hundred rounds, which I always do for 1911 break-in anyways
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hey Mike! Yes, I own a 2008 R32, traded my 2006 GTI for it when they first came out, man I love this thing! This is my 4rth rabbit!
Great cars and welcome again. Pretty soon you'll get a case of DWAS and then it's all over for the bank account. Man, Dan's and cars (and for me, Nikon's); the financial drain is stupendous. Oh well, at least we're having fun.

Here's another thrown in! I like the name you've chosen, that's awesome. Does she come with an invisible holster?
I don't do names very often, only a couple of them...Ed & Fred, the twin Porkchops. I was gonna call my Model 40 Barney for a minute, but he's not quite purple enough...I need to get one that's REALLY purple for that name.
Glad to have you aboard, show us some when you get it home.

to our world. A Dan Wesson brass-flinger is just about next on my list. I do have Delta Gold Cup and an AMT Hardballer, but revolvers are my favorite. Had an 84 Scirocco that was a great car also. Some may find it odd to name guns...I've done it to all of them. They are called....
MINE.
