Just joined the forum. Glad to be here. My wife got me a new CZ 453 varmint for Christmas, and was over on that forum when I read a post about this Dan Wesson forum, so here I am
Anyways, I had a stainless .22 vh pistol pac back in the day before having to sell it. Sure do miss that case and gold "velvet".
I currently own (for the past decade or 2) a Palmer Dan 744vh ss. It has a 4", 6", and 8" scoped barrel (which I used several years ago successfully deer hunting).
Reading this forum over the past few days prompted me to do a tear down / clean, so she's all slciked up and ready to.
Anyways, just wanted to say hey....now to head over to the revolver section and ask my question(s).
Cheers,
Roger

aboard!
We just recently saw a 722 Pistol Pac sell on GB for presumably quite a bit more than you paid for yours. ...> LINK <...
Your 744 sounds great, if you have any to share, we'd sure love to see 'em.

...I too love the look of the wood grip, but it's a little too large for my hands...
That's ok, many of our members choose to use the Goodyear (rubber) grips for their range trips. I even have a favorite Pachmayr fingergroove set of my own, for range duty. Very often, the beautiful grain shown in some wood grips is often used for only that...glamour shots for cool picture purposes.
I must say, I have no problem with that so far...
