Originally from KS... living in MD.

huge fan of Dan Wesson, I've been shooting this DW 44 mag since I was 5 years old:

I'm 29 now :) My old man passed it on to me when I turned 18, best present I ever got. Most accurate 44mag I've ever shot and 24 years later it still runs like a clock.

Welcome to the Forum here.  I have to confess that at 5-years old I would not have wanted to mess with you being a .44 magnum shooter at that young age surprised.  Glad you offered some cool-pics of the big ole .44.

Thanks everyone. I'm pretty sure there is a picture of me in a box some where shooting it when I was 6 or so. I'll see if I can track it down sometime. The 10 inch barrel and full lug take out almost all recoil, so as long as you can hold it up you can shoot it.

Haha. I'll look for the uncut version. It's a ruger mark II with a ten inch bull barrel.
