Hi.
My name is Klaus, born "68, and i am working in a small Gun/Huntingshop.
A few months ago i found a very nice DW .44Mag in our "caves"...
Not actualy what i searched for, the 8" barrel lenght is not the best choice for selfdefence against wild boars...
but this little big monster was so gentle to shoot.. so i decided to keep it for myself
Nearly unused, in original box, with barrelnut-tool, gauge e.t.c - 800€ was a fair deal.
Now i am looking for a shorter barrel, but sadly it might be impossible to get one in Germany.. and importing from the U.S. - maybe hell freezes over first..
One of our summer-student-helpers owns a .357 DW, and he was unable to find a barrelnut... no chance, even for the tools to make one from scratch.
But anyway, the .44 is my first revolver, normaly i use a .10auto Glock29 or a .9Luger Browning FN HighPower from 1956 (and searching for one of the rare .40 for years... ) Shooting experience comes with the job, we sell lots of custom made S&W and are member of the Club30Germany Dealers
I go hunting (not as much as i would like to, no time.. ) with a .308 Tikka T3X and for close-range a shortened Mauser K98 System in 9.3x62 , and practice some Trap/Skeet and "Plinking" with a Browning auto5 Aluminium, a Derya MK12 and a verry fine Benelli M2. Longrange is difficult to practice in Germany, but up to 300m i try my best with an .308 Seven-Six-Two Hera Arms.
Finaly, i hope that i can get some Info about the DW-Guns and meet interesting people here.
This is the black beauty, with the Pachmayr-Grip i found today..
... and today i found a new "home" for it.. the 8" are nearly squeezed into the box. Its pretty heavy with 2 or 3 Boxes amo (50pc each)
But better than the original styrofoam...

Good to have you on the DWF! When I lived in Schweinfurt (1988-1991) there was a gunmaker on the square, downtown. He made several parts for me, for other guns. If you search around, I'm sure someone can craft what you need.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
