Hello, just ran across this forum a few days ago, while looking for parts for a Dan. Lotta good info here from what I have found already.
Was wondering if someone might have an answer to a question on a shroud for a 445 SM.
I have one in 8" and would like to go to 10". I have the 10" barrel, but have not been able to find a shroud. (not even a 357 maxi) Been talking with the CZ/Dan girl and she told me they will make on up and "lazer etch" the markings. Has anyone here gotten one of these and if so, how do they look?
Spent enough going to gun shows, searching hock shops and the e-net, that I could have bought one by now. Just really would like to see what I am buying.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers!

Mike,
I've been looking for "a long time", to the point of realizing new is the only option. I have a model 40 357SM with both 8" and 10". Came across a couple of 10" 445 barrels new in box and want to set it up for hog and deer hunting.
Rifles just are not a challenge anymore.
Could use the shroud from lil' man on big man, but I just like to have things right, if you know what I mean.
Great to be blessed with such a dilemma!

Welcome!!!! Yeah another Mississippian!
I can tell you MS... is not a good place to look for DW guns and parts... too many smiff fans. Another great web site for us Miss folks is Mississippi gun owners.
I am Pinetor on there as well. Lets go shooting!

Pinetor,
I'm down on the coast. Have been a SW fan for a long time also, just picked up a 460, what a beast.
Been practicing up for the F class matches around the state. Not gonna get as serious as some of the guys with custom rifles, the CZ 452 Ultra lux will have to do for now. It's all in fun for me.
Your right about Ms. not being the best place to look for Dans. Over the last year, at area gun shows, I could count the Dans for sell, without using my toes.
Maybe we'll run across each other somewhere.
