OK. I'll grab a few pics and try to upload.
First is a R1500 for PPC. It's built on a S&W 686-6. I built it with two barrels with different twist (250 mm and 476 mm) and two different shrouds (aluminium and stainless). Owner wanted to be able to shoot different diciplines and these had restrictions in overall weight as well as what ammo to be used. Basically it's four revolvers in one.
Second are my "long range revolvers" built on S&W 686-5 and -4. Both are sold and will be replaced by a S&W 581 with replaceable barrel and a DW 715 with fixed barrel.
Third is an IPSC Revolver built on a S&W 627 8-round. Owner wanted a "copy" of my own IPSC Revolver, so I made a replaceable barrel and an aluminum shroud. I also made a lighter cylinder for .38ShortColt.
As you can see....... I like Nill grips 🙂
I resisted Smiths for a long time. Then I bought more than a couple of pre WW2 guns. Then some post war guns. Then a 1956 44 mag. Then a couple of awesome 8 round 357s. ATRR8 among them. And lately a couple of S&W 547s.Along the way I acquired several Pythons and Officers model Colts. I also am fond of Ruger SP 101s. And little Taurus ultralight in 32 mag. Of course I had to have some High Standard steel Revolvers. It all started when I saw my first Dan Wesson Pistol Pack.
