Howdy.  Aggie, Class of '02.  I have a Dan Wesson Pistol pack.  Not sure when it was made, but the original owner purchased it on July 4, 1976 according to the receipt.

It's a 357.  I will have to wait until I return from a business trip to be able to get it out and check the serial number, etc.  I just remembered the date of the sales slip, as it stuck out as a great day to have bought a gun.

Boy, that's for sure!Proud To Be An American That's too cool.

Is your gun a Porkchop, or the later standard shroud design? The 15-2 (standard shroud style) was first introduced in 1976, so that purchase date will be a real 50/50 chance at it being either one, I believe. That should also mean that your front sight is pinned & not interchangeable. Here's a picture comparison, showing the shroud differences...

When you get back, we'd sure love to see someCool Pics of that Pac, if you can.Laugh

Welcomeaboard, glad you're here!Cool

Post Pics

I know he's away on a business trip, doesn't have pictures with him, etc., but still, we have standards hereSlap

Welcome to DWF, this is a Dark Ride.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
