Hi all,

I purchased my DW Elite Carry Officer in July and am already loving it!... I need more of them lol.  I have been shooting for over 20 years now, but mostly in the military.... So I have only recently begun to actually enjoy the fun of shooting in the real world.

I will probably buy another 1911 and I would also like to purchase my first revolver, which would of course be a DW.

Welcome to the forum.  The ECO is a fine 1911 but now you must get yourself a revolver, I agree.  Much more fun than the M9 but not quite as much fun as the M240B.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?

Thanks for the welcome.  I am not really a 240 guy lol... But thaws active duty when the Army first started the switch from the M60s to the M240s back in 1994 or 1995.  I remember the MGs were truly thrilled to get the 240s.  They were feeding the bandoliers through it with the belts on purpose just because the guns would shoot right through them lol.  Easily amused!

WAY OFF TOPIC (hey, it's me), several years ago in a phone conversation with my son, he started out with "you'll never guess what I just swapped for".

He was stationed on USCGC Aquidneck in the Persian Gulf, and had just traded some stuff for a bunch of barrels for his M2's. Barrels were new, unfired in packaging dated 1944!!!

He is easily amused by anything full auto, and his new job offers him a LOT of amusement

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
