I recently found this forum and was happy to learn many others love the Dan Wesson revolvers. I've been retired 8 years after 32 years as a police officer and police firearms instructor in Michigan. I still keep my hand in as a firearms instructor for a local police academy. I enjoy hunting, shooting and reloading. I own three Dan Wessons, a .22 with 4, 6 & 8 inch heavy vent barrels, a .357 Mag with 2, 4, 6 & 8 inch barrels, and a .445 Supermag with a 4, 6 & 10 inch barrels. I bought the .357 Mag in the early 1970's and carried it as a duty gun as well as shooting competition and hunting deer with it here in Michigan. The .22 was a gift from my son in Alaska. The .445 Supermag has been my companion and "bear insurance" on three hunting trips to Alaska. I recently purchased the 4 inch heavy vent barrel from CZ-Dan Wesson to make it a little more convenient to carry in the Alaskan bush.

You've got a pretty nice stack of Dan's there, I bought my first one at Dunhams Sporting Goods in Pontiac, and put a LOT of lead into the berm at Bald Mountain.
So now, here it comes
