The last m&p I looked at was pretty stripped down, no forward assist, no dust cover and a cheap looking carrier group. To most people these things wouldn't matter but for an extra $50 to $100 I would get an all mil spec rifle. I know I'm not alone in thinking that one day I might have to use one to protect myself and family, thats when these little extras make a big difference to me. There are also many different calibers for uppers for larger game from .204 ruger to the .458 socom and .50 beowolf.
