Hi, guys and gals!
I thought I had signed up here a while back, but I now think I was simply a lurker. *grins*
Well, I have a few years on me but I started shooting when I was 8 with a 94/22. I started competition shooting then. My first revolver was a S&W 27 that my dad bought for me when I was 16. Since then, among all the other toys in my toyboxes, I've acquired a 6" 686, a 6" Python, a 3" SP101, a 7.5" .44 Super Redhawk (my only .44), and my favorite, my 15-2. It was slightly used with a 4" and an 8". I soon found that the 4" outshoots the Smith and the Colt. The 8" makes them look anemic! I do the Elmer Keith thing but I won't publish how far they'll go out 'cuz some of y'all won't believe me. *smiles*
Anyways, I finally got around to looking for a 6" barrel/shroud. That will be the subject of my second post.
(Edited for typo.)

I don't remember it, but it's good ...

Thanks, guys!
Scout, if things get any worse in NM (turning Communist), despite our long history here, mountains, green chile, and a dozen other things, we are packing up and going somewhere in Tejas!
