Hello to all. I have only one Dan Wesson. A model 15-2V8. Guess that's how I list it.....looks funny to have a handgun with a V8 ! I live in rural MS , outside of Poplarville.
I found my DW at the Hattiesburg,MS gunshow. A guy was selling it for a friend of his. I had heard they were good firearms, and this one looks really good, with minimum wear....so I got it.
I ordered a barrel wrench and I am in business.....this thing shoots really well. I loaded up some lead bullets and it likes 'em. I ordered a bandoleer holster for it and it worked out well, also............thanks, Pete

Just got my first DW. One of the nicest looking .45s I've ever seen. Didn't care for the stock grips so I sanded em down and cut a relief for the mag release. Don't think I will replace these.
The first outing with the pistol was a little diapointing, a few failure to feed and the slide would not lock out when empty. I'm sending it to a friend at APW to get tuned. I'll post a report when I get it back. Think this one will be a keeper.
