Hello All,
After much thought over which 1911 .45 I wanted to purchase, I ended up choosing a DW CBOB. Finding a CA dealer that carried the DW pistol proved difficult, but I eventually found one.
On 9/11, I finally had the ability to look at several Kimbers, a Kobra Carry, and even a few Wilsons all in one place and at the same time. I hope my purchase will result in many years of enjoyment and in the satisfaction that I made a wise decision. Once the mandatory 10-day waiting period is over, my DW 722 revolver will soon have company!
Can't wait to try it out at the range!
I have a few questions, so check out the 1911 forum for my post. I look forward to meeting all of you.

Actually, I saw your other post first, and responded there (the link to it was not hot, I also fixed that for you).
Welcome to DWF, and of course
We'll settle for pictures of the 722 for now, and the CBOB the second you get it
Nice to have another 1911 guy here, I have a pre-CZ PM1-S that I love, and among the revolvers is a 722 as well.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

It's a bummer that you have to wait 10 days, but I suppose that's better than 10 weeks.
Congrats on your new gun purchase, be sure & show us some when you get it home. I've got a pre-CZ PMA-B that I added to my stash a few months ago...my only 1911 so far & I sure do love it!
