Hi
I just discovered this site, looks like an informative one.
I have the kit (15-2) I believe, with four barrels and case. I have had that for quite awhile.
I also have one that I believe is a "pork chop" (Model L maybe) but I do not know what that
means, yet. This one is my hunting, fishing and general purpose revolver. I used this one for
my NRA instructor classes for Basic Pistol, Personal Protection in the Home and Personal
Protection outside the Home. I have 65 firearms and I love the Savage 99's. I prefer revolvers
and have them in 22's to the 454 Casull. I have a preference for the 44 Magnum, 6 of these. I
reload everything I own and I also cast my own bullets as well. I am starting to make my own
leather holsters as well.

Welcome to DWF, sounds like you have a couple of nice Dan Wessons, as well as a pretty extensive collection of everything else. Your porkchop shroud should look like the second of the shrouds shown here:
https://www.danwessonforum.com/?page_id=28
It refers to the "foot" that extends down from the shroud where it meets the frame, creating a pretty distinctive "porkchop" appearance. Yours may or may not have an external barrel nut. You probably have either the Model 11/12 or 14/15, a look at the evolution of DW revolvers is here:
Finally, in case you haven't stumbled across it yet:

Enjoy!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
