Just joined the DW NATION! I started shooting in January. I've been wheelchair bound since 12/2/67 when I was 19. I broke my neck playing a sand lot fraternity football game at UF. I didn't realize I could shoot until a range opened here. My son-in-law happened to go shoot and I went with him. I asked some questions because I don't have full use of my hands and asked an instructor if I could shoot. He said sure an I've been hooked ever since. I started buying guns online and discovered DW. I purchased several and love them. Now I've started collecting an am hooked.

Hello Spgator55 and to the ! I am glad you joined the DW Nation, that's a cool way to put it. If you use the same screen name on GB, let me tell you I would agree you have been buying guns on line. I believe I asked the question once in a thread, "who is that guy?" Now I know. All of a sudden you were very active. We love to see other forum members land some prize Dans, but, , so give us a look at your collection so far.
I am certainly glad to hear you are able to handle the shooting considering your challenging condition. How's your aim? I have trouble seeing the targets, but we are probably the same age as I was in college in '67 and also 19.
Looking forward to hear more from you, and remember the .

Spgator55 Welcome. My oldest daughter is also a Gator finished her masters in Geology in 2004 and is now working on the Tar Sands project in Ft. Mac Murry Alberta. She got me into hand guns after a trip to Kids camp at the NRA's Whitington Center when she was 15. It all started when she came home and said "Dad you need a Thompson Center Contender they are really cool.". Contenders lead me to a .357 max, which lead me to a DW 740. I still haven't bought another DW. but I have accumulated a couple of barrels for the one I have.
