Hello from Ocala,Fl. ,DWAS forced me to learn to use a smart phone. I have been haunting for 6 months.I have bought from Eric, drooled over LB' grips, and become old friends with Charge fan, Ron, Lonwolf, Smkytxn, Steve, fearless leader Jody and many more.New to firearms but reading the DWF is more fun than reading encyclopedias.
Just pressed the BIN button on my 8th dan.woke at 5:00 am and saw a lnib .45lc 6vh. wife says
I paid too much at $799. pictures will follow when tech support shows me how. It seems a purchase only stops the craving for a couple of weeks.Learned how to bid on ebay too. Grips are like a ladies handbags. You need one for every occasion and outfit.
I will add some serial #s to the registry soon . 79 pistol pac , 91 744 vh10+vh4 from original owner and a714 with a 1979 serial number on gun and box but the pricelist and brochure makes no mention of stainless. I know. Worthless without pics. soon, Ole Dog
Wife says to proof read and put spaces after periods. I miss spoke. The new .45lc was $899. Did I over pay? I don't think so. Doesn't buyer set value? Excited about being able to shoot from cowboy action to magnum loads . btw, wife is retired LEO and firearms instructor. Her complaint is I have too many blue dans. She is a CRA.

I keep notes on max prices realized that I've seen over the years. The max on a 45 is noted at $1200 and the max on a 745 is noted at $1500. I think I set the max on the 745....my bad. So yes, the buyer is responsible for the "value" and the seller is concerned with "worth".
Nice snag, they don't show up too often.

I am so excited to be on the forum finally. I owe you guys a great deal. My model12 broke right after I got it. I can barely use a screwdriver, but thanks to the tutorial I fixed a broken hand spring. Boy, was I proud. Gonna practice the average joe tuneup on the w12 and then do my others. It was pretty slick inside from use. Tuned itself? Thanks so much.

Steve CT, I suspect you are right about my 714 being a 14-2 with a very fine cromaloy job. The ejecter star is blue as is the barrel. It is uncanny how much it looks like stainless when compared with a 744. the good news is that it is still LNIB and I can shoot it without fear of putting wear on a rare piece of DW history. A 6" model 14 seems very balanced to my inexperienced hands.
thank you guys for the warm welcome.I live just 6 miles from I-75 if you'll are heading north or south. Ole Dog
