Happy to be a new member & looking forward to future posting. I currently own two DW 15-2 357 revolvers with 2,4,6 & 8 inch barrels as well as four DW 1911's. Here is one of my 15's & my Valor. Good luck to all!

Hello William,

Welcome to forum. You go to the head of class for adding pics to your 1st post. Love the grip on that 1911.

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?

Thanks for the kind welcome. Here are photos of two of my other 1911's. I don't have a photo of my PM7.

dwf-welcome to the dwf, William.

I love those grips on your 1911's. All mine have grips by Esmeralda.  Where did you get yours?

Next you gotta get some fancy grips from LB (see right column) for those 15-2's.

These are on my 715:

I get my 1911 grips from Lonestar Custom Grips in Texas. You pick the blanks from what he has on hand and he makes the grips for you. Google Lonestar Custom Grips.

You have some nice SS Dans!

Since I realized I didn't have a photo of my Pointman 7 this was the perfect excuse to take one. Thanks for the warm welcome!PM7-email.jpgImage Enlarger

Amazing collection of DWs! Is there one 1911 model you prefer over another - and if so, why?

I am retired and go to my range in New Jersey several times a week. All of my Dan's are fired regularly. I love shooting the 15-2 and the 1911's are wonderful. My favorite is the Dan I am shooting that day although I have a real attraction to my Pointman 9. A photo of a typical target is attached. This one was shot hand held, nine rounds at 25 feet. Frankly, all of my Dan's shoot like this. They are great. I have the only Dan Wessons at my range however everyone there wants one. Another photo of my Pointman 9 this time with cocobo wood grips.Dw-9mm-wood-grips-2.jpgImage Enlarger

William, when I do my part properly, my PM-1S does pretty much the same. It is easily the most consistently accurate centerfire pistol I've ever owned.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
