Hi, all.
I stumbled across your forum and joined mostly to add to the Serial Number data.
I have a model 14-2 that I purchased as a service weapon.
I was sworn in to my PD in December '82 and likely bought it within plus or minus one month of that date.
I'll put all the info I currently have in the appropriate thread.
Other than that, I just wanted to say that I doubt I'd ever sell my 14-2. I had never owned a handgun prior to joining the PD, and I'd never even heard of Dan Wesson at the time, but I've never been sorry I bought it.
I never failed to qualify on the range with it, and I love the feel/balance of the weapon.
That's about it.

Welcome to both new members. The serial number info is especially appreciated. There's some good information here, just poke around in the articles, etc.
