Long-time shooter (from about 1960) focusing on milsurp rifles and handguns. Shot some competition back east (small-bore and pistol) but now mostly handguns for pleasure (and self defense).
I'm about to get my first "Dan Wesson" in the form of a High Standard .357 Sentinal, Mark II. I saw it in the case of a local gun store, did some research and now just waiting for the WA state approval process.
I know zip about Dan Wessons, except they are excellent handguns, and am anxious to learn more. I'll probably have a bunch of basic questions, but that's the only way to learn.
Looking forward to becoming a "regular."

Welcome to the Forum!
I predict that you will be very happy with your DW. As my buddy Ole Dog likes to say: "Dan Wessons are the thinking man's revolver"
You do have to pay attention to setting the cylinder/barrel gap, and to check it regularly. If you do you will be rewarded with unexpected accuracy and fun shooting.
Enjoy!
