Hello all-just bought the following gun, always wanted a DW and now I have one (or will in a few days):
http://www.auctionarms.com/Closed/DisplayItem.cfm?ItemNum=9133379.0
I will probably be selling the 8" barrel that is in the pictures if anyone is interested let me know. The DW will join a SW mod 48, SW 1917 in .45acp, a couple .22s and a Ruger LCP. I figure with the 2.5 in barrel the DW will make a good carry gun when I want something larger than the LCP and the 6" will be the range barrel (no tin can will be safe). Jim

to the forum Jim. Glad to have you here. I would think you should find a buyer here somewhere for that 8" barrell assembly if you post it in the forum. Looks like you started off with a here! If your model 15 with the 6" barrell shoots anything like mine, you'll be very pleased. Glad to hear about a range report when you have time.

Nice set Glenncal1! to the DWF - great to have you as a member. Let us know when you want to unload that barrel - I may just happen to be one of the vultures in the market…
There is copious amounts of information under the archives tab and in the File subheading. Probably any info you need and feel free to ask questions.

I have been watching some of the auctions go buy and it seems like nice clean .357s go for about $400 with one barrel so I thought getting 3 barrels for $550 wasn't too bad. The seller had tons of feedback on the auction site including several people that had purchased multiple items from him. Got some .38 ammo on the way looking forward to rumming a few rounds through it.

That's a real nice deal you got. I think the Pachmayrs look especially nice on a DW 15. When you have a chance, pick up a 4", IMHO a 4" .357 is a really perfectly balanced revolver, and just about as easily carried as a 2 1/2".
Also,
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
