I am a lifelong Florida duck hunter, age 60, and found this site because I inherited my father-in-law's DW .357 revolver, which I think is a Model 15. I also inherited a .38 S&W service revolver and a cool Colt 1917 .45ACP military revolver. Began to shoot these three at my club, I was amazed at how smooth, comfortable and accurate (despite being a handgun newbie) the DW was. I fell in love. Having read up on DW history, I am still curious about my gun and plan to research it more here.
Thanks for providing this forum.

Welcome. Oddly, I have a Model 15, a S&W Model 1905 .38 Special service revolver, and a Model 1917 .45. You have a good stable there. Enjoy shooting them all. I like the trigger on my DWs better than the others though.
Like DA....64 said, a pic would be the best way to help you identify the DW model. Good pics of the words on the barrel and frame will help to establish info too.
