Well, actually I have been hanging around here for a little while, learning about Dan Wessons from you guys. Been putting off posting 'til I could finally take a couple decent pics 'cause I know you guys like those. (Hope they come out ok).

I bought a real nice 15-2 in March from a local gunshop, I don't think it was ever fired much. Came with a 6"V barrel and a 6"VH barrel. I took the first pic the day I got it.

I picked up a very nice 8"V barrel off GB, and added a Hogue wood grip in the second pic.

I polished and ogled my new Dan so much, I was afraid I'd wear the bluing off, so I talked myself into a good deal on a nice 715 off GB with a 6"V barrel in the third pic. Best of all it was only an hour away and I could pick it up and avoid shipping hassles.

Ironically, my dad owned a DW model W12 that he bought new in 1973. He had it for about 30 years, hardly ever got it out or shot it, then he sold it several years ago. I kick myself for letting it go now! But back then I did not appreciate what fine hand weapons they are.Image Enlarger

Lonwolfman, you are the MAN. Newbee and you got 2 fantastic looking Dan's and 3 Cool Pics right off the line!  And I see you are not managing DWAS very well, well maybe you are in that you did the Buy Now , Buy Now thing.  There's a guy who lives very close to you who has "a few" (rofl) Dan's.  He and I hook up every so often, maybe we could shoot sometime. The PA contingency is growing. You took some great shots there. I like the muzzle rest on #2 and the rocks really make your Dan's jump out.

Oh, Welcome to the DWF Sign!  What's next.................ah yes a SuperMag is a must ya know poke.

Welcome to DWF, a couple of nice DW's in the house already and another on deck? You'll fit right in here.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Lonwolf93,

Another hearty Welcome to the great and powerful DWAS club here at the even greater DWF Sign.  Jaggman is right, it would be awesome to get another PA member into our small Dan shooting club.  We were out to the range together in Lancaster, PA back in mid May this year and had Dan's scattered all over the benches and there was plenty of Dan ogling going on that day.  Glad you deceided to join our club and we look forward to hearing and seeing more of your growing Dan collection

Nice DW's, and an especially nice looking set of (Hogue?) grips on the 15-2

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yes, the Hogue Pau Ferro grips I got are very nice, and fit like they were custom made just for that pistol too. But after seeing pics of some of the LB grips you guys have, my new dream is an LB grip for my 715, his grips look awesome!
