Well I just joined the forum. i have been shooting Dan Wesson revolvers since
the 80's. Was a steel ram buster ( most of the time) but now a handgun hunter
and paper puncher. Just purchased a Model 15 .357 3 weeks ago. Now have a
.22/.44/.357 along with other mfgs. revolvers. I also have been a long time reloader.
In fact, i think none of my guns has seen any factory ammo. Dan Wesson revolvers
really like a custom load....

Welcome to DWF, if you haven't already been there, check out our Reloading Forum, the guys there are always looking for new stuff.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

It's nice to see another midwesterner here! I'm just south, down here in Iowa.
(hold the Iowa jokes ).
My 15-2's like everything from 4 gr. of BE behind a 148 gr. DEWC to:
6 gr. of Universal behind a 158 gr. SWC to:
14 gr. of 2400 behind a 158 gr. JSP.
I picked up a box of 180 gr. XTPs but haven't worked up a load yet.
Enough snow already!!!!!!!

Another welcome to the. Glad to have you. While I do shoot some factory loads on occasion, I handload for everything I shoot for the most part, it is part of the fun of the sport for me. It is good to hear from another past steel shooter, they do not have any of that going on here in my area, I wish I could give it a try. Look forward to those forthcoming
