I own a DW Model 15-2 with 2.5, 4 and 8 inch barrels. I've owned it since 1987, but it's been in my ex-wife's garage until a couple of years ago. I traded a Walther PPK for it. (I think I got the better part of that deal.) It's a beautiful piece and a whole lot more accurate than I am 🙂
I joined this forum to learn a little more about the revolver, and to find a 6" vented barrel to round out the compliment of barrels. I'm a woodworker and I'm building a custom, CNC'd case to hold the pistol and all its barrels.Â
I'm not sure when it was manufactured, but the serial number is 181697.

Welcome to DWF, yours is a vintage 1979, a very good year for 15-2'sÂ
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
