hello everyone,
I'm looking at buying a DW .357 with 4 and 6 inch barrel, has old style tool set but I'm not sure of the model?? the serial number starts with a 15, does this indicate this is a older model 15? its made in Monson if that helps?
Serial is 1521xx, its blue adjustable rear site and not the porkchop frame, I'm now incontact with the seller and really would like to know what I'm buying and what its worth?

That is a Model 15-2, the "15" leading the serial number is a coincidence. S/N 1521xx was probably made in 1978, and you should expect it to be very well made, with (at least originally) a beautiful, highly polished blue finish and a medium to dark wood target style grip, possibly with medallions inset in the grip.
This would be a great deal at $400, and a pretty good deal up to about $600.

thanks for the information, This also has two sets of grips, one with no emblem and the other with with checkered and three letters, its got the non vented 4in installed and comes with a vented 6inch barrel.
