Hello, Glad I found this group.
I have acquired this revolver s/n: 56xx with 4” barrel and am looking for OEM items. Factory box, tools, 6” barrel & instruction manual. These items mysteriously disappeared from my Mothers home about 4 years ago. Fortunately I have the original receipt & transfer paperwork. The research I have done helps me narrow it to a 1970 model. If anyone can help me with finding replacement items that would be wonderful; I am checking eBay, online firearms auctions and listing, and will be calling pawn/gun shops around my moms town to see if it has passed through them. Thank you in advance for any info you can share.

It was in her closet, not the gun safe, so she either tossed the box by accident or others that came to visit walked off with it. The gun is wonderful to shoot, I’m just upset that I didn’t put the box in the safe years ago when I had the chance. Oh well I’ve got the gun and the stories that go with it, I’m happy about that. Thanks for the reply.

Welcome,
Ah the W12 the start of it all. Also called pork chop or ugly nut. Parts are out there. the box might be hardest to find and when calling all those places ask if they have any DW parts pieces!!
Keep us posted
Thank you. So far I’m finding nothing, but my Dad had some good relationships with gun shops in his area so hopefully that may help. Thanks and I enjoy seeing your posts and DW pics.

I missed this the first go-round, however I'm hoping there has been enough time that has passed that there has been a happy ending?
A W12 in .38SPL is automatically on the very short rare list. I can recount of 2 so far...photo proof is long gone (thanks to the general suckage of the internet in recent years), but I have my notes, for what that's worth. Anyway. Sure would love to hear the outcome on this one if there is one...
