Hello DW forum.

I`m from Sweden and I have just bought my first gun, a Dan Wesson .22

I found it on a weapons auction in Stockholm.

It looks brand new, original box and all tools/instructions were included.

I like it a lot and have ordered new springs to do a proper trigger job on it as soon as possible.

Welcome to the DWF Sign!  That's a sweet looking DW 22 you have there. Love those grips.

Welcome Tailgunner.

Nice gun.

You're going to want more Dan's.  It's called DWAS and the "medication" is expensive and there is no cure.

Really beautiful 22, and welcome to DWF. I'm kind of curious about DW revolver values outside the US. You could easily pay $500-600 for that in the US, about 3900-4700 kr (I'm not this smart, I looked a currency conversion). Is that close to the price, not including license/government fees?

Steve

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I paid 1200 kr (150 USD) so i guess i did a nice deal.

The DW`s are not very popular in our country, I don´t know why, but it´s all about S&W over here.

I bought this gun because I got a modern, nice looking revolver for half the price of a fifty years old, worn out Smith & Wesson K-17

Does anyone know what year of make my gun is?

Here you can look at other revolvers from the same dealer http://www.walterborg.se/auktion/

Click on "slutprislista" on the left side to see the final price for each gun.

Maybe one of our Swedish members could purchase some of these and then sell them to us at a small profit?

$150? Really!

6VH Model 22 with Zebra grips?

The Gun Gods smiled on you, my friend.

That is a very nice .22 with the Zebrawood grips, and a great price too! Welcome to DWF Sign

We seem to be finding these Dan Wessons all over the world. I'm waiting to see the first one that shows up in Russia.
