Hello to everyone I am new here I found this site while searching for some Dan Wesson info. I currently own a Blued Dan Wesson 357 CTG and am in the process of purchasing a stainless 357 CTG pistol pack and am very excited about it. I love lever guns and the tried and true revolvers. Thanks for your time and all the great information on this site. Carl.

Here is a picture of my blued 357. I have owned it since I was 19 I done some work on a lawnmower for it on the terms that my dad would keep it in his possession until I could legally have it but he wanted to keep it longer I finally got it from him this year. He always said I had enough guns and kept it for home protection. I love the gun and would never part with it unless I couldn't put food on the table for my family!  That goes for all of my guns by the way. Carl

That's a great looking piece. You're in the right place to learn about DWs here. I'm sure you've checked out the serial number pages and the EWK link already. Looks like a nice example for a 15-2. Grips look great. Monson or Norwich? Can't quite tell from the pics but is that a ventilated rib?

Hello TrueSS,

and dwf-welcome. That's a nice 357 15-2 you got there. I'm guessing that's from the Monson era? I have one of these in a PP, I would love to have the SS in a PP, good luck and post some pics when you get itoccasion.

Sounds like your on your way to acquire the dwas

Yes this one is from the monson plant and does have the vent rib barrel this gun has been shot very little and other than the grips having a few imperfections it's a really clean Dan Wesson! Carl
